Pacific Coast Slam

2008

The Pacific Coast Slam caters for state representative teams and international teams. 

2007 saw teams from Victoria, New South Wales Country & Metropolitan, South Australia, and New Zealand compete

in this prestigious event.  All teams have indicated they will be returning in 2008 and It is expected that teams from

Queensland and Northern Territory will participate in 2008.

The Pacific Coast Slam has 2 age divisions, Under 15’s and Under 17’s in both boys and girls.

Last year there were a total of 36 teams, so we had over 400 participants in the event which also included

administrators, referees, coaches and managers.

The Pacific Coast Slam is now regarded nationally as a premier junior development tournament.

The dates for the event will be Monday 21st January – Saturday 26th January 2008. 

The event will be run over a 6 day carnival, and the winning team will be decided by finals on the last day (Saturday 26th January).

Purpose of Selection:

Selection in the NSW Metropolitan Junior Teams is intended to provide the opportunity for gifted Metro

players to further develop their individual and team skills to realise their full playing potential leading to

State and higher representative honours
