In 2005, the Metropolitan Development League Program format will be revised.
There will be programs for boys and for girls conducted for the Under 11, Under 13 and Under 15 age groups. Information about the new format and the program details may be accessed by clicking in the appropriate place that is indicated below. Basketball NSW has outlined the format of the new program and all relevant information in a summary document. Application forms for players and coaches may also be accessed from this page.
Selection trials will be conducted for players at various venues which will be announced soon.
Players who wish to trial must complete and return the official application form that may be accessed by clicking in the appropriate place as indicated below.
Coaches may apply to coach or assistant coach teams in the MDL. Team Managers are also required. Coaches and Team Managers who wish to coach or manage in the MDL program must complete and return the official application form that may be accessed by clicking in the appropriate place
as indicated below.
A junior referees program will also be conducted in conjunction with the MDL.
Metropolitan junior referees and referee coaches are strongly encouraged to participate in the 2005 MDL.
