Disciplinary Tribunal By-Laws

The Basketball NSW Board has adopted the following by-laws in relation to dealing with player behaviour. The document outlines the procedures to be followed when dealing with disciplinary tribunals along with the responsibilities of parties.

The policy has been developed in an effort to assist Basketball NSW in dealing with competition related offences and disputes which may arise in the conduct of basketball programs, competitions and events.

The policy is in place to ensure that every person involved in Basketball is treated with respect and dignity and is safe from abuse. Also, this policy ensures that everybody involved in basketball in NSW is aware of their rights and responsibilities.

The following policy applies to all Basketball NSW stakeholders, employees and volunteers alike.

This includes, but is not limited to, associations, players, officials, spectators and parents.
